Lymphovenous bypass (LVB)
In Alzheimer’s disease, the brain’s natural waste drainage system may not function effectively, leading to a build-up of proteins that can contribute to symptoms such as memory loss, confusion, and behaviour changes.
Lymphovenous bypass (LVB) is a surgical procedure that connects small lymphatic vessels directly to nearby veins, creating an alternative route for lymphatic fluid drainage.

DR MOODIE
Dr Moodie knew that he wanted to become a surgeon from the onset of his medical school training at the University of Pretoria, finding the opportunity to repair the human body extraordinary.
His logo, which you see on this website, was inspired by a sculpture by Reghardt van der Meulen “Fragmented“.
